Is Universal Express Pass Worth It?

A Detailed Look!

Universal Express Pass

Universal Express Pass is a park ticket add-on and it's important to note that not all rides and attractions accept Express Pass.

Price

Universal Express: From $69.99, bypass the regular line.

Universal Express Unlimited: From $89.99, Bypass the regular lines an unlimited number of times per attraction.

Universal Studios Florida

Most of the best rides at Universal Studios accept Express Passes. Notably missing from the list, however, are Fievel’s Playland and the shows The Bourne Stuntacular, and Fear Factor Live.

Universal’s Islands Of Adventure

Two of the best rides are not on the pass, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, and the new Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Your best bet is to book a line reservation time via Universal’s Virtual Line Experience system.

Universal Express Pass Wait Times

The time savings for some of the most popular rides is huge! On our last visit, the typical wait time for Jurassic Park River Adventure was 60-130 min, but only 9 min, with the pass.

Universal Hotels With Express Pass

Complimentary unlimited Express Passes are included with your stay at Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. Your room key doubles as the Express Pass.

Is The Pass Worth it?

In our firm opinion, Universal Express Pass is worth it. We feel that the additional cost more than covers the time saved from having to stand in long lines.
