The Best Places to Eat in Naples, Florida

Naples is an amazing family vacation destination located in southwest Florida along the Gulf of Mexico.

With beautiful palm trees and miles of beaches with turquoise water and sugary-white sands, it’s easy to love Naples for the scenery alone.

Beyond its natural beauty, Naples has incredible shopping, golfing, and of course, good restaurants!

Naples’ best restaurants feature bounds of fresh seafood, French and Italian influences on new American cuisine, and a heavy smattering of Southern charm.

As I said, there’s something for every palate here!

Do note that you should always make advanced reservations when possible, for along with being the best places to eat in Naples, they’re also the most popular too!

We love Naples, Florida so much, that we’ve written an entire list of helpful guides to help plan your vacation there!

For dessert, the vanilla bean creme brulee topped with seasonal berries is a must.

Plus, kids can enjoy a fun drink too with a virgin frozen daiquiri or pina colada.

Additional planning tip: The Turtle Club is one of my favorite restaurants in Naples, as well as is very popular. Advanced reservations are highly recommended, especially for the outdoor patio seating.

Grouper & Chips for the win!

2. Grouper & Chips

Grouper & Chips is by-far, one of the best casual restaurants in Naples making it a great place for both kids and adults!

This not-so-hidden gem offers a Floridian staple – the grouper sandwich.

At its heart, this is a family business run by Pam Pischner and her two daughters for over 27 years.

Though it may not look like much from the outside, Grouper & Chips is a stop you won’t want to miss. This casual dining option has a relaxed atmosphere that makes customers feel right at home.

This restaurant is popular with locals and tourists alike so don’t be surprised if there is a line down the street!

Don’t worry—the food is well worth the wait.

The grouper sandwich (made of fresh blackened gulf grouper) is an obvious must-try.

Beyond that, check out their unique French influence with the sauteed grouper milanaise or the bouillabaisse.

Finish your meal with another iconic Florida must-try – key lime pie!

Additional planning tip: Order a three-piece grouper basket to share amongst your family. The portions are huge!

3. Osteria Tulia

Osteria Tulia is Naples’ beloved Italian restaurant!

Chef Vincenzo Betulia combines terrific Italian food with innovative craft cocktails for a memorable dining experience.

Kids will love simple dishes like grilled nonna’s chicken with spaghetti.

Be sure to peek at their wine list featuring hidden gems from small Italian wineries and global wine-makers.

Here, you can try small plates of market oysters or the prosciutto and sweet kiss melon.

For a cocktail, you must try the Alameda sling – a mix of St. George Botanivore gin, benedictine, pomegranate, and pineapple citrus.

Round off your night with a mouth-watering honey yogurt panna cotta.

Additional planning tip: Looking to make it a date night? Head next door to Bar Tulia 5th Ave

4. The Claw Bar

Great service, superb food, and Southern hospitality are all found at The Claw Bar.

If you’re looking to splurge on fresh seafood, this should be your first stop.

A seafood restaurant at its core – The Claw Bar serves decadent seafood towers, pistachio-crusted grouper, and whole Maine lobsters!

They also have amazing breakfast options for kids and adults alike.

Try their lump crab eggs benedict for the best breakfast of your whole trip.

Kids can dig into scrumptious chocolate chip pancakes, or savory scrambled eggs with toast and bacon.

Additional planning tip: If you’re in the mood for some live entertainment, zip upstairs to The London Club. We love to go here to enjoy a bloody mary while listening to live music.
